ottimo tributo allestito dalla label di Barcellona Houston Party al capolavoro dei Beach Boys. si parte con il folk austero e profondo di Will Oldham (in una delle sue incarnazioni) che trasfigura la melodia di wouldn't it be nice. in scaletta sono da segnalare almeno la splendida voce soul di Dayna Kurtz nel traditional sloop john B, quella commovente di Daniel Johnston in god only knows e l'eclettismo sonoro degli Architecture In Helsinki al servizio della strumentale pet sounds. chiudono i veterani The Wedding Present con una riuscita caroline no. consigliato, ovviamente.
